Oketh & Steydroth's Clutch 9
The dragons begin to hum as the first eggs rock. The first egg hatches into a mean-spirited blue dragon. He glares at the candidates, but his gaze softens slightly when he comes to Boawin, and he is Impressed!
This green dragon is unpredictable; she skips past the female candidates and goes straight to Guin!
Then, everyone is taken by surprise when the gold egg starts to crack! The bad-tempered gold climbs out of her shell and hisses at all the female candidates. A few of them hold their ground, and finally, the queen allows Justina to Impress her!
A blue hatchling steps toward the candidates hestitantly, but Ishfael manages to keep his attention!
This green is determined to bond, and she walks straight to Rixie!
This blue dragon is very protective of his rider once he chooses Chadin!
A green hatches next, and walks complacently to the candidates. She chooses to Impress Ainei!
Next is a brown dragon, who stares at the candidates suspiciously. Caede, however, manages to gain his trust and Impresses him!
A passionate brown hatches, and this one goes straight to Teicha!
A slightly crazy green wanders over to the candidates, and Alora Impresses her!
This blue dragon is momentarily perplexed when he realizes there are no male candidates left, but he stubbornly goes and chooses Nasira as his rider!
The next egg reveals a lazy green dragon. It takes her awhile to make her choice, but eventually she Impresses Shiz!
The next green is very scared, and she goes to Aurora for comfort!
That leaves just one choice for the patiently waiting bronze that remains on the sands. Fortunately, neither him nor Eminay seem disappointed at this outcome!
